Committee President Shahin Aliyev's speech on TV

On 15 June 2016 the managers of the Special Olympic Azerbaijan and “Inter” Professional Sports Club have appeared live on "Idman Azerbaycan" (tran. – “Sports Azerbaijan”) TV channel. During the TV program, activity of the committee during the first half of the current year was discussed, including the successful completion of the 2nd National Games, 7-a-side football tournament’s silver medals in Valencia, Spain and other issues.

The president of the Special Olympics Azerbaijan Shahin Aliyev, "Inter" PSC president Reshad Gassymov, the football coordinator of the Special Olympics Azerbaijan Kamran Fatullayev and the captain of the national team, silver medallist of the above-mentioned tournament Rashid Safarov participated on the TV show. Each of them expressed their impressions and expectations about the projects as 2nd National Games, the results of the international football tournament, the “Family”, “Young athlete”, “Youth”, “Unified sports” programs and the plan for extending the geographical coverage of the Committee onto Tovuz, Zaqatala, Shirvan and Quba towns by opening new regional branches there.
